About Bay Area Telecom Consultants

Bay Area Telecom Consultants exists to give Bay Area and Central Valley businesses access to IT support and security work that was previously only available to large organizations with large budgets.

After two decades on the provider side of the technology industry, Derek Griffin knew the system well enough to see exactly where it was failing small businesses. Carriers routinely sold them services that didn't fit. Vendors pushed hardware they didn't truly need. And when something went wrong, nobody picked up the phone. He launched Bay Area Telecom Consultants in 2017 to be a different kind of option: an IT and security partner that charged fairly, showed up reliably, and stayed accountable to the client instead of to a quarterly sales number.
